The Newbury Green Party held a stall at the Green Fair in Oxford today. It was great fun and especially good to meet so many like minded people. The place was packed and an example of what we should be doing in Newbury and Hungerford. Of special note to me was the 20 is plenty campaign (called 'Life Begins at 20') being run in Oxfordshire. I would be very keen to see the residential streets being returned to the residents by allowing voting to introduce lower speed limits in their area. You can find out more about their scheme here.
